Poem #657

I dwell in possibility
a fairer house than prose
more numerous of windows
superior for doors

Of chambers as the cedars
impregnable of eye
arid for an everlasting roof
the gambrels of the sky

Of visiters the fairest
for occupation this
the spreading wide my narrow hands
to gather paradise

Comments: She seems to have gotten hold here of a very merrygoround of sexual accommodations. I can see no other identification for it than masturbation, and such of unlimited, unrestrained visualizations. But of course, she might just compare the pleasures of lesbia favorably and with enthusiastic exaggeration with the prose of heterosexuality. (As if expecting a secret tryst with Kate).
