afternoon
Noon being the period when glans reaches its fullest expansion and ejaculation its zenith and evening the period of penis collapse and of crumb orgasm, “afternoon” is the time of happenings in between these two events. It can stand for the mutual climax, especially when it is a "mitred afternoon (98), but can also stand for the mere attempt at mutual, as in “playing crown” in 239, when her “missing her industrious angel” resulted in the “dreary” play with “marbles” (crumb orgasm) for compensation. That so far highly enigmatic poem 354 comes out now as the description of a mutual climax.
