anguish

Assumption: predominantly female in meaning, denoting worry about orgasm, anxiety in attempt to gain it, anguish in the process of losing it. It is characteristically a female experience in intercourse: the fearing frustration or the enduring it. It has less a place identification than one of time in intercourse, being most intense at that moment in it which she symbolizes with “crisis”.
