bell
Synonyms: bells
Pre-analysis assumption: “bell” definitely is a symbol, it derives from the basic concept of the pole with something fluttering from it, or stirring within it, and therefore signifies penis in ejaculation. Since she is practically compelled, for security reasons, to invent a female meaning for symbols that might become too obviously male in significance, we must expect that such female meanings will also be encountered. It could be that she borrowed from vulgar sex language the meaning of “ringing the bell”, which means penis penetrating into vaginal cup and possibly hitting the “spot” that triggers the mutual climax. She certainly introduces the term also into her flower symbolism, where it may have once a male, once a female significance.
