Synonyms: fingers

Preanalysis assumption: “Finger” should have predominantly a genitalia meaning, as an organ, a tool of the sexual function that is instrumental in bringing about its purpose. Its shape suggest that it can serve as symbol for penis. As a part or subdivision of the hand it can become a vaginal symbol also, inasmuch as “hand” is predominantly a vagina symbol. But in this female application one would expect that it would be used mostly in pinpointing particularly specific vaginal motions, of reaching or of stroking. It may be used for semen also in regard with the quanta streamers, which in at least one instance are called “fingers of the light”. It could have a significant lesbian application, and I formerly laid such a meaning upon it quite often. With better understanding I have come to see that Emily showed rather great reluctance to use terms in such a connection.
