hour
Synonyms: hours
Preanalysis assumption: “Hour” is a period in time, and “time” in her symbolism denotes both phase and qualification in intercourse. And the various phases of “time” in her symbolism are so deceptively construed to insure a thorough confusion of the reader. While “day” stands for the entire duration of intercourse, “century” comprises only the brief period of semen emission. I may say that all my insights into the time symbols are so far not much better than educated guesses. I would therefore say for now, that “hour” may be considered a moment, a series of moments, an interval or phase in intercourse, and by extension can stand also for the happening for which the “hour” is singled out.
